Control Systems Specialist

We currently have an opening for a Control Systems Specialist.

The ideal candidate for this position will hold an Engineering Technologist Diploma or BSc in Computer/Electrical Engineering. You should also possess a strong programming background, be well versed in ladder logic programming and capable of interpreting and correcting real-world problems through code. Successful completion of Industrial Control Systems courses would be an asset, complimented by experience with Microsoft products and the following:

  • RSLogix 5, Studio 5000, RMCWin/RMCTools, RSView32, FactoryTalk View ME/SE programming software
  • Devicenet, Ethernet/IP, DH+, RIO networks
  • ControlLogix, PLC-5 Control Systems
  • Delta RMC, QB Setworks Controllers
  • Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 750-Series Drives and Legacy
  • Mitsubishi drives
  • Modicon PLCs

The successful candidate will form an integral part of our maintenance team.  You will be involved in evaluating existing process controls as well as establishing new control systems from initial design to startup.
